Although the Government announced that leisure centres and gyms could re-open from 25th July, Covid-19 has had a particular impact upon public sector leisure. Our facilities management team and staff have been working tirelessly with local authorities to schedule a specific date for re-opening. After consultation with our governing body, HM Government website, W.H.O. guidelines and agreement with our insurers, we have made the informed and thankful decision to re-open on Monday 31st August 08:00 am
We'd like to reassure you that your membership remained frozen from date of gym closure to reopening, additionally, as a gesture of appreciation to our loyal members, we've extended your membership by a further 2 weeks free of charge.
When our facilities re-open, please remember that you will need to pre-book a gym, class session via the links on our website. This is so that we control the capacity of our centre and ensure social distancing.
Although there has already been a deep clean, and from the investigations that we have made, the Centre would be virus free in any event. We have a continual sanitization program ongoing throughout opening hours, please respect our staff and their requests to isolate areas as they continue to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and your wellbeing.
We will continue to exercise social distancing until we are told otherwise and so there will be a safe distance between our staff and members.
We will keep our website and our Facebook feed updated, and you can also keep up to date with our most recent re-opening information here.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our gym again as soon as possible
